Karl McConville

Karl has spent his varied career focused on the Agricultural and Landed Estates Sector.

After a year as an Assistant Farm Manager, he gained a degree in Agriculture, went on to be a Regional Head for Rural consultancy firm Promar before spending 16 years at Barclays as Head of Landed Estates. He then moved to Strutt & Parker for 4 years where he was the Deputy Head of Rural prior to co-founding Landowners Capital.

Karl has had an impressive 33 year career in the sector and has built up connections with an extensive network of sector professionals and landowners. Karl is known for cutting through complex transactions and getting them done!

Outside work, Karl enjoys walking with his spaniel ‘Maverick’, travel, all things food (gardening, cooking and eating) and spending time vicariously enjoying his children’s achievements.
